So, I have finally pulled the trigger on some new pups. I have a set of Fat 50s coming for my Strat. The guitar plays great but I just wasn't crazy about the stock pickups. They are not bad, but they don't have the tone and clarity that I wanted.
Hopefully they will even be here for my birthday. What a nice gift, a souped up Strat!

Congrats on a good choice!

You'll have the vintage chime along with the power to slice through the mix!

Well, they arrived Thursday and I installed them earlier today. In a single word... WOW!!! All five positions are awesome. The bridge is nice and clear, the middle has a full, round tone and the neck pickup now sounds like a chorus all its own. Then when I'm using 2 or 4, they just blend so nicely and the extra noise is gone.
