Although, you'd have to reach inside your amp to access the volume knob.

True... but I already have to reach around the back of my amp as it is. I quite like the rear-mounted controls, mainly because my young son can't get at them!

Did you find any good reviews on it?

I think I might just go with the Weber MiniMASS, 25W. I like the features, the price, $75 and the comments are pretty good on it.

Ah, I didn't really look into it very far. That Weber MicroMASS (15W) looks very interesting indeed, though. Hmm. Wish I'd done some research, although I might have risked depriving myself of an excuse to buy what has turned out to be the best distortion box ever (OK, OK, honeymoon period...but it's been a fun weekend).

My speaker is a Weber, and I just took a look at the wires...not quite long enough to make it outside the confines of the amp...BUT -- I could probably thread them through to the bottom of the cabinet and find enough room for that MicroMASS as well. So tempting. I think you should go for it, seems like a great idea...

Actually, for an extra $5 I was looking at the mini

https://taweber.powweb.com/weber/minimass.htm

25W should be plenty and I like the Treble Boost function. My little champ through my Marhsall cab sounds bassy as hell, actually will vibrate the windows. I can dial in more treble with the TS pedals but then it's even louder.

Lower volume and more highs might just be what I need. As of now unless someone offers a better solution I like all about the minimass.
