I love to play stuff from Hendrix, Gilmour, I love those strat players and their sound. I would like to play something between blues(doors), rock(floyd), and things like Woodstock 69` bands. I want to give a soul to my music.
I have my squire by fender standard series with alder body and maple neck, playing through Peavey Classic 30, Iam quite satisfied, but I always want the best sound, so I decided to buy new pickups for my love(cuz I dont have so much money to buy new guit. through ebay).
So Iam choosing between Custom 54, and Classical 57, 62 vintage pickups, but I also like the lace sensors. The last choice would be the SEYMOUR-DUNCAN 5L for neck position, cuz Gilmour had this one on his axe.
Iam really confused of those pickups, wanting best tone, and dont know what to choose, all those are for similar price, so this is not the criteria. Can someone give me an advice please?

Welcome!

If you're on a budget, we'll talk sets. The Lace Sensor Golds might be an option for you (price wise) and to my ear are closest to the Custom 54s which I would not choose. I'll explain further on.

For the majority of those you've named: Hendrix, Gilmore and 1969 Woodstock artists, the Fender Custom Shop 69 pickups would be THE set to choose. They are quite crisp with a dipped midrange. On the other hand, the Fender 57/62 set is also an excellent choice and have a bit more midrange which would help you out with the Robby Krieger and other users of standard Gibson humbuckers of the era stuff. The Custom 54s I'd pretty much leave out of the equation as they are geared to clearly a different vein than you are into. Sure, they sound good but they might be a little too, "sweet" for what you're after.

If I were you though, and you needed an all around, "bread and butter" set for the indefinite future, I personally would go with the 57/62 set as I feel they are the most versatile while still within the chosen vein of your liking.

Informational: To my ear, the SSL-5 is a 'super powered' 57/62 sounding pickup.

Welcome to the forum!

I'd suggest trying the Fender Hot Noiseless. They sound great and unless your guitar is well shielded, they will sound quiet too.

Oh i saw few videos on youtube, nothing clear, always there`s a lot of hum in theese videos, because of mic, amp, and the other stuff. But i read few topics about pickups for fender, and a lot of people prefer the golden laces, no the other colors, only golden. I think I will try to find set of theese for low price, do you know if its better(cheaper) solution, than getting it on ebay? :)
And can you tell me about the difference between hot noiseless and golden laces, cuz I didnt manage to hear it in those videos.
Btw sorry for my english, Iam not englishman :D hope you understand!

Edited: And what is your opinion on 57/62(theyre cheaper, so I don`t know want the best ones), I can prevail the hum, its not a problem, I just want the best scream sound to hide my poor playin`.

I bought a Suhr Fletcher Landau neck pickup for my strat and I think it'll cover all the tones you are looking for. Suhr pickups are AMAZING, but don't get much press on here. A set of them cost a bit more than anything offered by Fender, but the cool thing is you can buy them individually. I'm on a budget as well, so I am buying the set one at a time. I also found my local dealer sells them for a little bit cheaper than advertised. I can hardly leave my strat alone since I upgraded my neck pickup from the vintage noisless that came stock.
