Need a little help here with 57/62 pickups. I am about to install a set. I know the three are 5.6k resistance and 3.0 inductance. I also looked them over and the black lead is on the right and feed the copper to the right on all three. Also the white is the top of the winding on all three. I checked them all with a compass and they all read the same reading on top. I have installed fat 50's and they are color coded I'm sure because the resistance is different in the three.
The question, where these don't seem to be reverse wound or reverse polarity and they all have the same resistance, does it matter where they go and does the white wire go to the switch on all three with black to ground? Thanks Mark

Thanks a bunch Jag_Man, hope to have the rest of the parts in and get on it this week end. I sure have missed the guitar. I put a new neck on it a week ago ordered parts and have been waiting for the guts to come in. Been messing with a 69 that I didn't like because it was rather twangy. But this week I have grown to enjoy it, it has some snap like a tele and is good for some of the older blues.
