Ok, I raised my action to 2mm, and basically all I wanna know is if I should raise my pick-ups because of this?

Pickup height is really just a matter of preference. I usually adjust the height on any guitar that I play, depending on what I'm going to be using it for. It's a quick and easy adjustment that can be made without worry of "screwing up" if you aren't that experienced, and it can really change the tonal qualities of the guitar as well as the string dynamics. Have fun playing around.

Have you heard of the old rule of thumb, that is to put 2 US nickels on your PU, fret at the 12th fret and adjust the PU height so that the string just touches the top nickel.

I've always been happy with the sound on my SCs, HB, MiniHBs, P-90s
& Dynasonics.

Lower pickups are usually better.

+1. The tone is amazing when they're low, but it does depend on the guitar.
