Hello, I was wondering if anyone is truly
happy using a LSR nut on their guitar. I have one on my telecaster.
Shimming it is a pain in the rear. Any suggestion on making it
easier to true-up to specs?
Thank you all. Roger.

Welcome to the forum!

As for the LSR Roller nut, like any other nut, it makes a difference when the string is open. Once you fret, the nut is taken out of the equation. The added mass might make some difference, but it would be negligible.
