I've got a telecaster bridge pickup, a stacked noiseless-style singlecoil, that a seller claimed came out of a Fender American Deluxe Tele. It had a Black Dove P-90 in the neck, and this pickup was in the bridge.

A single row on magnets on the top (looks like a traditional single coil), but it's stacked, and it has four conductors. I've tried several schematics to wire it up and none have worked.

No markings on the pickup. Does Fender label or wire their stockies different than they label their aftermarkets (similar to how Gibson's stockies are 2-conductor, but their aftermarkets are 4)? Is there any way that this is an SCN? Were early or stockie SCNs ever unlabeled?

I'm going crazy trying to wire this thing. Anyone?

I would, but it's currently installed and I only have the Macbook iSight for a camera. There's no markings or ID on it at all.

Even without markings or ID, sometimes, we can still tell which model or at least, brand the pickup is. Unfortunately, without seeing it, we can be guessing for weeks. This is probably why no one answered your post.

I'll say this though, the SCN pickups which came in an older American Deluxe Tele do indeed fit your description in as much as those pickups did in fact, have 4 lead wires and no tangible identifying markings.

If I remember correctly, the yellow was the hot wire, obviously, the black was the ground and the other two colors should be soldered to each other and insulated.

I thought maybe someone would know what came stock in said guitar (US Deluxe Tele with a Black Dove P-90 in the neck), but I spose maybe not. So, I bit the bullet and took the bridge off to take some pics.

Remember, this is NOT the original guitar. This is the guitar I'm installing the pickup into. I didn't take pictures of the leads, but they're black, red, green, white, and bare. Here are some pictures.

Biting the bullet for one's own cause is necessary sometimes.

Although the pictures are a bit dark, from what I can see, that pickup appears NOT to be a Fender SCN nor a VN; not a Duncan nor a DiMarzio stack. As a matter of fact, I see no coils stacked at all. The plate seems to be an add-on. It could be anything.

Yes. As I said, this isn't the original guitar it's out of, it's the guitar I'm modding and putting the pickup into (Squier Vintage Modified). With the switch at the bottom and controls at the top, you're less likely to bump the switch while playing.
