Just curious whether this Fender bridge would fit on my Strat body. I'm pretty sure my body is Mexican. I assume this bridge is American made:

I dont think so. The spacing between mexican and american strats is different. You can get a mexican fitting trem that is superior to fenders one from callaham.

+1...American and Mexican parts are not interchangeable.

Never heard of Callaham. Do the Callahams have more mass and increase sustain? The only reason I would buy one is for that. Not for the whammy bar use itself.

I just recently oredered a vintage 6 hole tremelo for a project I am working on. I was surprised to find so many different hole spacing for Fender Strats. USA, Japan and Mexico do not use a universal spacing, so measure carefully from hole center to hole center on you body for the trem screws.
