I would like to compare the pickups before I buy. Are there sound clips somewhere of Fender's pickups? How about other manufacturers' pickups? :?:

Thanks. Great web site. I must say, I hear very little difference between the pickup models. They all sound great.

Ah, we have an honest man among us. :)

There is very little difference. The biggest difference is what you play an dhow you play it.

I wonder how many single-coil models are available and how many of them offer nothing unique? Remember, we're in a marketplace with competitors touting their wares. Every company wants to produce the Vintage Noiseless model from the 50s; the hot Texas model for the SRV disciples; the Gilmore sound; the hot humbucker; etc. And of course, competition makes for better products and better prices--but it can cause confusion for us buyers.

I mean which brand carrying Vintage Noiseless pups do I choose? <the question is rhetorical"
