Go the top of this page and click on the search button, then type in humbucking...you should find a lot of suggestions.

Search other words (and phrases too)...there has been a LOT of talk on these. Good luck!

If you want active pickups go to www.guitarpartsonline.com, if you are looking for great passive pickups go to www.guitarfetish.com.

Well,
i love counselling people about pickups, I always do it in my band! :D
So, i see you like EMGs, go to www.musiciansfriend.com and search for Rockfield pickups. Its a relatively new company but they are based on what people actually want, so they are very very good! The average price for one would be around $50 i think. If u like EMGs, then u like metal and Rockfield has well priced pickups to cover evey style. Check the Mafia model, the Fat $@! model and the Turbo models if i remember correctly.

Otherwise, u can still check some dimarzios which at at around $69. U can get evolution pickups, those used by Steve Vai at that price and many others. Seymour Duncan is slightly more expensive. If u want singlecoils, then the Lace Sensor series kick butt! Specially the Red one.

Don't hesitate to contact me for more info :D

IF you go to http://store.guitarfetish.com/pickups.html, you can get some GFS pickups for a great deal. These pickup are as good as the name brand, but much cheaper. They even have hot rail style pickups (I have one in the bridge position of my strat).

I personally use gfs and they are great! Rockfield pickups kick seymour duncan and some dimarzio butt. I don't really like dimarzio it's its own type of pickup. Rockfield is truely great It just matters what your looking for for a emg sound with a passive system the fat $@! would be the way to go. But they're 3 gfs pickups to choose from the power rails, crunchy rails, a extra loudmouth (my fav)! But as I said for active pickups check out www.guitarpartsonline.com!
