G'day, I am wanting to do a couple of mods on two of my Squier Tele's and would love to hear your advice.

I have a Standard Squier Telecaster that has a wicked bridge pickup with plenty of bite but the neck pickup sounds crap.

Can some one give me their take on what are the best PUPS to install on this Guitar for playing Country Rock.

I also have a 2008 Squier Vintage Modified Telecaster which has a great Mini Humbucker on the Neck, but the middle single coil is Crudd as well as the Bridge Pick up...

I really like these Tele's but they are limited due to the PUPS.

I think if I install better PUPS they will open up the Tele's to better tone's.

What are the best PUPS to install for Country Rock ?

"Best" is very opinionated and you'll probably get many different responses, but I like :

Fender '52 RI set
DiMarzio Twang Kings
Van Zandt Tele flat pole bridge pickup
Duncan Jerry Donahue

Ahh Cool thanks, I always think that it's best to source opinions from other muso's. In the end the decision is up to ones self.

I was going to go KINMAN pups but i'd rather put them on a MIA Tele. Too expensive for this project.

But hey it's about tone aint it...

I will try the Fender 52 RI set with me being a Fender fan i'll go with them.
Thanks Mate..

I will reply with feedback once I get the job done...

Cheers.

Another vote here for the Dimarzio Twang Kings, those things smoke!

How do people like the stock pups on the current MIA Standard Tele?
(random opinions and thoughts are okay)
