Hi, I have a custom strat that I put together. I have the Fender S1 switching and all 3 SCN pickups. After getting everything installed I am hearing a definite vibrato or almost trem sound from these pickups. Does anyone have any ideas? Could it be a bad capacitor? Do all of these pickups do this?

SCNs do not come with a built in vibrato/tremolo so you can rule that out.

If it starts within 30 seconds or so after plugging in, it may be the capacitor. If it does it all the time, I'd suspect a weak connection where the vibration of the strings is actually vibrating the weak connection, thus making it even weaker. A pot could be burned up too which could give you the same symptoms.
