I have a Highway One Strat (Upgrade). I was thinking to replace pickups, just to remove the hum  , with either the Hot Noiseless or the SCN or stay as is. Which one do you think is the best choice? :?:

PS I play almost any genre. Thanks! :)

I want to at least welcome you to the forum! I have no experience with the other two pups but I have SCNs on my MIA deluxe strat and love them! They are quite and have a great tone that is a little different from other fender pups , more smooth to my ears. I'm sure you will get other opinions different from mine. Good luck! :)

The SCNs are a bit more refined and compressed, the Hot Noiseless are a bit more organic and ballsy. You might be happy with either set, but my preference is with the Hot Noiseless. BTW, they really aren't all that Hot.

I have the Fender Hot Noiseless installed in my G&L Legacy and they sound great. Do it or find someone who has them installed and have a listen. Good Luck.
