How will the tone of my guitar change in relationship to the value(250K. 500K, etc...) of the pots and cap being used?

I posted this in the general forum and the consensus is that the caps value will effect the tone from bright to warm, but no real talk about pots and thier values.

So what about the pots? How does their value affect tone? Or does it?

From my experience, changing a 500 to a 250 will give the guitar a warmer tone and take out some shrill if you have it. Going from 250 to 500 will add a bit of treble to the tone.
