Hello - I apologise for my first post being nothing more than a petty cry for help, but I've literally been through the whole internet searching for the right tortoise style. Fender have had it. Just not anymore.

Does anyone have ANY info on it?
Who makes it?
When did they change to their newer brown (And might I add hideous) tortoise?
Where can I get something similar?
I've tried Fender Consumer Relations, which yielded nothing but a sales rep dodging my questions and adding nothing of value.

I've tried Warmoth, Pickguardian, Guitarfetish, Chandler guitars, terrapinguitars, and most other custom guard makers. No luck.
Furthermore, I've tried as many shops as I could, that sell genuine Fender guards to no avail either.

Hi

I have that exact pickguard on my Custom shop Strat pro, The guy I purchased my guitar from had it installed about a year ago. I have the original Fender package it came in (57 STRATOCASTER PICKGUARD, TORTOISE SHELL) #099-1349-000

He told he searched around for a long time and finally found one.

I was thinking about changing my pickguard if I do I might be interested in selling it, if you don't mind a slightly used one.

Regards,

I switched my pick guard back to the original one it came with.

So I have a Fender "57 Stratocaster Tortise shell pickguard" for sale, It's is about
1 1/2 years old and in great condition. I can't figure out how to post any pics of it.

Let me know if you are interested.

Regards.
