Anyone have any experience with this pickup? I'd like your thoughts/opinions. Also, their website recommends a whole set of these in all 3 positions, or a JB Jr in the bridge position with Duckbuckers in the neck and middle. Why not just the JB Jr in the bridge and keep my single coils in the neck and middle?

Thanks!!!

I had a JB Jr in the bridge position of a Strat with single coil Alnico V Fender pups in the middle and neck positions. The JB Jr was too harsh sounding 9to my ears anyway) and I replaced it with a standard JB (SH4) and it's a much better balance.

I currently have a JB Jr in the neck and mid, and a cool rail in the bridge. I had the 3 set JB Jr at first because I bought them as a set off ebay already wired and with a pickguard. I hated the JB Jr in the bridge position, it seemed to hate giving any sort of sound quality to my harmonics. Plus I wanted to play metal occasionally and they arent the greatest for that. This may be a hollow point, but I didnt like it. I couldnt get a good enough edge with the three JB Jr. I love them in neck and mid. Nice all around work, great for blues and rock, which I primarily play, but with all 3, theres not alot of variety in the guitar. Ive switched one JB Jr out with a lil '59 recently, also a good choice. SD pickups are great and you wont go wrong

Good question, that is my exact configuration of my 93 amer strat.
It works good for me for years now, I might change it up in the future.

Also don't leave your email address there for too long ziggy.
Edit it out after he contacts you.
...otherwise a bot will find the email in text here & u will start getting more spam!

I have a JB Jr. in the bridge position of my MIA Strat with Hot Noiseless in the mid & neck positions.

The combo works very well for me. The bottom tone control is dedicated to the bridge pup.

Compared with my stock ScNs, does the JB Jr kill the sparkly sound? I know Green Day's Billie-Joe plays with a regular JB in bridge.
