Hi all,

I purchased a AVRI '62 Strat (1999) several years ago, the seller told me that there were a couple reproduction replacements: the middle tone knob and switch tip. Also a missing backplate and tremolo arm.

I'd like to restore the right pieces, but it seems hard to be sure without the parts number, so I've identified the following thanks to the documentation on this site:
Switch Tip - 0053765000 (Knob, Aged White)
Tremolo - 0019652040 (Arm, Tremolo)
Tremolo - 0053766000 (Knob, Tremolo)
Volume - 0056145000 (Knob, Volume, Aged White)
Tone - 0056144000 (Knob, Tone, Aged White)

The problem is, I can't seem to find any links to online stores selling these pieces on Google or eBay (Did manage to find backplate!) When I search without the parts #, I seem to find things that suggest they are for the '62 AVRI, but seem to have a different parts #.

I did manage to find these knobs (http://darrenriley.com/store/fender-s-1 ... nobs-aged/) which match the parts #s for Tone, but they don't look like the knob I currently have. The 2 non repros appear to have thinner font and dots under the #s.

Anyone have a good source to find replacement pieces? Thanks!

Fender's "aged white" replacement parts look like crap (the pigment is too dark and too brown). You'll be better served with the parchment color. You can buy the pieces individually but there is a good possibility that the color will not be consistent. Instead look for a complete parts set sold by Fender as part of their accessory line. Each set contains volume and tone knobs, a switch tip, a trem-arm tip, pickup covers, and a trem cover. You'll find them on eBay for about twenty bucks.
