Hi guy!!! I searched through the first few pages and did not see anything, so if this is a repeat I apologize. I am looking for a Fender Tele bridge pup that will still give me the twang but take on some dirt without being harsh. Music styles would be Rolling Stones and country like Keith Urban and Brad Paisley. I am planning on a Twisted Tele in the neck.

Any suggestions out there?

Look at the Billy Hibbons Gilly bridge pup. Gnarly but twangy.

Seymore-Duncan's Quarter Pounder might be a worthy candidate.

Fender's own.... Original Vintage would be my choice. I have a drawer full of pickups and these are in my No#1 Telecaster! The bridge pup growls with the best of them. These are on the American Original 50s series telecaster (the $1799 tele...) and there is a reason why... Running around $100 they sound as good (and more traditional/vintage) than the $200 lollar's I threw in the drawer.

Alnico 3
DC Resistance
Neck: 7.2k, Bridge: 6.6k...

A pickup's tonality and performamnce really come down magnet type, no# windings and how they are potted.

Both the Original Vintage and the the Pure Vintage 64 have Fender's original traditional and classic tones. I have some PV 64s in a white guard tele (note: the PV 64s come stock on the $1999 American Original 60s Tele)

Huge accolades about these two sets of pups. You use some quality pots, shielded wire and these sound awsome!
