I bought a pack of AV Nickle Saddles of the bay last week, part 099205 1000. Now the problem? I put them on my Jimmie Vaughans AV Bridge, 5 have fitted perfectly but the 6th has a problem with the height adjustment screws. They won't go in more than 2 turns. I bought a pack of Fender spare bridge height screws and none of them will screw in either. I have tried filing the saddle, tried to open it out more with pliers but to no avail. Any suggestions guys?.

Find if is the problem is the thread or the screws.
if you can do 2 turns it look to be the screws, thread are bad.

Test with other saddles.

You may try WD40 and gently turn screw half turn and unscrew half turn, to clean , until every thing work.
