I like D'Adarrio 11's, I used to use ernie balls but they seem harder. D'Adarrio strings feel softer to me and easier to bend.

I use GHS Boomers. Big sound, last long for me...

Has anyone tried the stainless steel fender 350's? I tried a set on one of my strats the other day and I'm not really sure what to think. I definately hear more note definition than with the 150's I normally use but there's something else going on that I can't quite put my finger on. This might sound strange but I almost hear a resemblance to a PRS I once had.

Thoughts?

If u want super sound, super feel and super durability, get some Exilir's. People rave about them and the coating only makes them smoother and faster.

Otherwise, u can always try Kerly Strings: New company made by a guitarist himself and uses metal tampering to prolonge the life and improve his strings. I have a set on my jackson right now, sounds very good.

Dunlop strings have been making quite an explosive start. If u check the reviews on musician's friend, u'll see that people say that they beat Ernie balss and D'addarios. No wonder why Zakk Wyld and Kerry King are already Endorsed.

There are also the DR extralife colorcoated. They look cool and sound and feel really cool too :D

The u can have Everly B-52s for a truly different experience with this special alloy which combines 52% iron and 48% nickel. Powerful Strings

Well, these are some of the new strings out there. Don't hesitate to contact me, i love counselling people about strings, pickups and accessories etc... Cheers! :D

I use GHS burnished pure nickle strings. They don't last very long, but the sound is unbeatable.

On my '08 Am Std. P-Bass 5. What type of strings do you recommend to get that Vintage type punk tone the P-bass is known for? I have the 8250s stock strings still on it and find them too bright. Thanks
