I'm finding that these work best in Strats for me also.

Everybody has different taste in strings. I would try several different brands and keep notes on tone, playability, longevity, etc.

Most major string makers produce good strings, you just have to find the kind you like.

But, your question is also for stings that last. What has worked for me is to keep my hands clean and wipe the strings down after playing. Nothing will kill a new set of strings quicker than a couple dirty, grimey, sweaty hands.

Good luck and have fun trying out all those strings.

If you want strings that last for a long time try elixir strings had them on my dads strat for about 3 months. I use ernie ball strings because I like the tone and feel of them.

I use either Beefy or XL Slinkys size 11. Acoustic I use Daddario bronze size 10.

currently using fender bullets, plan on replacing them with d'addarios in a month. these strings give me problems sometimes: tuning stability, buzzing at the saddle, etc.

i hope d'addarios will last me longer.
Hear they're really nice strings.

Never get bullet strings, they get stuck in the bridge sometimes.

I prefer D'Addario brand strings, and I like the EXL115s (11-49).

Find strings you like the sound and feel of. then keep them clean. Wipe em down after playing. Sweaty hands make for corrosion.

The side effect of better sounding strings will be more playing, so might not last longer, as per the calander. But if oyu want to maximise playing /in use time, you need to keep em clean.
