What are you using for a "boost" pedal?

True bypass?

I'm pretty satisfied with my Fulltone OCD. Yes -- it's true bypass.

I use my Blackfinger compressor, It has built in 12AX7 pre-amp to compensate for DB loss from the compression, but if you turn the compression all the way down it functions as a tube boost.

When I need a boost, I will either use the Clean Rat circuit on my Deucetone Rat or I will do the old Greg Sage trick and use and MXR Distortion+ with the volume all the way up and distortion all the way down for that cleanish boost with an attack-sensitive germanium growl.

Those settings do work well and on some others as well. Thanks!
