Seems to be two different color schemes for the CN-240SCE Thinline classical guitar: 1. rosewood/spruce and 2. Brown (mystery wood?).
I just bought the brown model, from a Fender reseller ... I have found pictures of the brown color and the rosewood/spruce color, online.

What are the woods used on the top/sides/back of the brown model ?

Why are there two different colors of this model guitar, and why aren't we the consumers being told what we are buying, or, given a choice?

The color of the wood on back/sides is kind of a brown with gold radiance. The top might be stained spruce?

The guitar plays ok and I like the color of the guitar, but I usually prefer the sound of a rosewood body guitar.
