Not even close. The Sonoran, between these two choices.

If you are looking for an acoustic and have 300-450 dollars to spend, consider a used guitar. Many people buy new guitars to learn how to play and then give up. I bought my Sonoran SCE a 2012 mint condition with a soft case for $125. For 300-450 and a little looking you can find all sorts of guitars some much better.

I own a CD60CE in a beautiful , all , Mahogany finish which I bought last year from Sweetwater. It is a Acoustic / Electric and it was easily the best $300.00 I ever spent.

New is nice. Are you one of these guys that actually believe that an over-inflated price of an article dictates that it MUST be better?

I have a CD-60 (non-electric), that I got brand new on a gear site with coupons and deals for next to nothing (I think $167.00), and I've played, felt, and heard my buddies $800.00 Martin and $1,200.00 Taylor...and I'll put my CD-60 up against both of them.

Just did a quick run through your 35 posts...and you are condescending and demeaning in (at the very least) more than half of them. Do you ever have any value to add to these forums, or are you just a jerk in real life too? ^------Your favorite emoticon.

Yes. A Fender T-Bucket 300CE

I never tried the Sonoran or CD60 but I have a T-Bucket 300CE. Aside from the great looks (I have the amber color), it came with a Graph Tech® NuBone™ nut and Compensated Graph Tech® Nubone™ Saddle. These would have been fantastic upgrades, but they come standard. Throw in the Fishman® Isys III System with Active Onboard Preamp and Tuner and you have an amazing deal for around $300-350.

That's what I'm saying too....excellent guitar for the money! I love mine for sure.
Beautiful looks, and beautiful sound...no doubt.

Just made a quick video of the T-Bucket. I wanted to use a song with lots of open chords:

This is the original song for those who are not familiar:

Sorry, deleted my video. Apparently just jamming the chords on an acoustic entitles the copyright owner to run commercials on my YouTube channel. I'd rather they didn't so I'm deleting the video.

I guess those refer to?:

I don't blame it on any of those listed strings10927...it is YouTube and the freaking greed of the businesses and people....Spotify, Pandora, Photobucket, Yahoo---all of them are nothing but ad's, ad's, ad's, ad's. Gotta get that money! Most of them you can "upgrade", and pay a fee...and SOME of the bologna is supposed to go away.
Greed!

I don't have any bad feelings towards the "Claimants" listed.

I just had no idea my performance of a chord progression violated their copyright. I posted it on a non-monetized YouTube account so thought that was OK.

But really, no bad feelings towards the Claimants at all, I was the one who didn't understand the rules.
