I have a resonator with a split saddle bridge. It has a screw in the center to adjust the spider/cone tension. The FR-48 I'm planning on getting has no such hole, and the dealer assures me it is a one piece saddle. Is the tension adjustable on this instrument? If so, how is it done? I have searched the support area for information on this (or related) instruments and found nothing. Thanks for ay help.

The FR-48 has a biscuit/cone construction instead of spider/cone. The biscuit sits on a slot, there probably is a screw on the underside but it should just be snug - the tension adjusting isn't the same as in a spider system.
The spiders usually are higher class resos than the biscuits, but this is just a (c)rude generalisation.
