I'm back on here after taking some time off and I want to show my newest acquisition which I just got a few days ago from Sweetwater. It's a Fender DC60CE Mahoghany Electric/Acoustic model which I absolutely love. I can't believe that this sells for only 300 dollars considering that you get a case plus a extra bridge saddle with it. What a deal. Unplugged, it sounds wonderful but I don't have a amp for it yet. I'm hoping some of you could help me as far as to what amp I could use with this ? I'm on a limited budget which would be within the $150.00 range or so. I have seen some used Fender Acoustasonic 30 models selling for about that price on Guitar Center's used section on their website and was considering getting one. Could anybody tell me if they've had any experience with this amp and if so, how are they ? Thanks.

Congratulations on the new guitar jeffo. Your choice of acoustic amps will depend on its purpose. The great thing about acoustic guitars is that if you are playing at home or with just a few friends no amplifier is needed. So are you wanting to play small venues solo with a microphone for your vocals and guitar input, or have your own amp as part of a band mic'd to a PA, or something else?

I'm more or less looking to do small venues as a solo act. This is why I would just want a amp where I can use both the guitar and plug a mike in as well. I was gearing towards a used Fender Acoustasonic 30 which I've seen on Guitar Center's used gear section for around $150.00.

Congrats! Looks very similar to my 2011 CD60CE all mahogany. Great guitar, mine is nearly 3 years old and she still looks like new, and I play it very often. Very well made instrument that also sounds great.
