Hi all, I'm new to the forums so please be gentle 8) A little about myself: I used to play quite a bit in my youth and life sorta happened, next thing I know I'm pushing 50 and have ddecided to re-visit my passion, so I started collecting and playing again.

So far I've aquired a reissue 72 Thinline Tele, A limited run Black Paisley Tele, Fender Tim Armstrong Hellcat, an Epiphone Les Paul Custom SG, Fender Strat, Takamine 12 string Electric Acoustic, Peavey Valveking 212 combo (all tube), Line 6 Spider Jam 75, a Eurolive 1220 PA and a Traynor AM 100T for acoustic electrics

Anyway I was wondering if upgrading the plastic nut, saddle, strings and bridge pins on my new Tim Armstrong Hellcat would really be worth the time and money, this thing actually plays and sounds quite amazing. Especially amped up on my Traynor AM 100T. Thing is the setup is pretty much as perfect as one could ask for on a brand new guitar and I'm afraid I may lose that by upgrading the nut, saddle and bridge pins, any opinions?
