Hi, I'm looking for an electric/acoustic guitar as we say here in my country buena, bonita y barata (good quality, good looking and cheap) :P ... Any recommendations, any experiences or comments :?:

PD: I'll prefer a Fender model

A used Standard Strat and a used Zoom multi-effects with an acoustic simulator on it. You can plug the Zoom into a stereo, a PA, an amp, lots options.

This way, you'll have a descent sounding acoustic with lots of effects and an electric guitar with lots of effects.

Around here you can get both for around $350, $400, sometimes less, way less if you shop around.

Okay, I'll take the challenge. If you are set on a Fender, the Fender CD140SCE is a nice Acoustic/Electric guitar. I got one for my son and it sounds very nice and is well made. Outside of Fender for about the same money you can't miss with an Epiphone AJ220SCE in the vintage sunburst. It's a solid top guitar with mahogany back, sides, and neck, it sounds great and is well built. For a bit more money you might look at an Ibanez AEF, a very nice looking guitars, they sound and look very nice. One last option might be a LAG T66ACE. I tried one today and it was a really nice sounding guitar and very nice looking. I also tried a LAG T100ACE in Black gloss finish an extremely nice sounding and looking guitar. There you are my recommendations for you.

Another possibility for a Fender is the Tim Armstrong "Hellcat" Signature model.

I just got a used left-handed model online for about the price of a new CD-100CE and have been very happy with it so far. It has concert-size mahogany body and a maple neck (which is my favorite feature, it feels a lot like the neck on my tele). Very fun to play and it sounds great plugged in.

On the downside, the action was VERY high at first -- but I had a setup done on it and it is now much more comfortable to play.
