when playin the acoustic is there any particular scale or chords that you cant play than that of what you could play on your electric? :twisted:

probably anything higher than the 12 fret depending if you don't have a cutaway. (i do) um... i prefer not to use bar (or barre) chords because they don't sound right to me but i do use them.

Are u kidding me? Barre chords sound awesome on acoustic! With the right strings, anything is possible. Just don't look for good distortion. :D

don't worry about what can and can't be played on an acoustic, just play it. aerospace engineers many years ago performed analysis that bumble bees can't fly but, they don't know it and keep on flying. just play like you mean it and have fun. i've been working on whippin'post by the allman bros on the mandolin lately.
