New to posting, sorry if not posted correctly. Anyone have any info Re: the new Fender Acoustasonic 100 & 150 Amps. Haven`t seen any of them around or even any reviews of the same. Can`t seem to find any info online. Release date was for Aug / 12? Has Fender fallen behind on the production of these new amps??? Any update appreciated! :?:

I believe Fender was a little slow and shipping them to stores. I tried both of them out today. They are very light weight and are easy to transport. The acoustic sound is fine. The black face and other model amps are a bit lame in my opinion. I ended up buying a brand new left over Acoustasonic SFX II instead. It cost more than the Acoustasonic 150, but to me the SFX II sounded a whole lot better.

I've had the Acoustasonic 150 for about a month now. I have and Epi Masterbuilt DR-500MCE which has stereo ouput through the eSonic2 pre-amp. I plugged it into the 150 the first time and it blew me away! I had been playing it through a Peavey practice amp which only has on input. I've also used it with an Epi Les Paul Tribute and on the three settings electric settings it sounds fine. The British setting is a distortion setting. Not heavy but some. I'm happy with it. My question is in the manual where it talks about the "stereo FX loop (Acoustasonic 150 only) for stereo effects devices. Connect SEND to your effects device input and RETURN to the effects output using "Y-cords". Then it shows a diagram of a "Y-cord". It looks to me like this "Y-cord" is TIP-RING-Sleeve. I would almost think it has to be. Since TIP-SLEEVE uses the sleeve (normally) as ground, however, the manual doesn't say to use tip-ring-sleeve into the amp SEND jack. I haven't contacted Fender yet. Does anybody have any input on this? Am I right in saying it has to be TIP-RING-SLEEVE to a "Y" cord which would then go to whatever, maybe a stereo effects pedal, out of the stereo effects pedal with a "Y" male to 1/4" TIP-RING-SLEEVE 1/4" back into the amp?
