Hello,

Im a newbie and I can't figure out what I have here. I've looked all over online trying to find info on this guitar but no luck. Anyone have any ideas. A friend of mine says its from the 80's. It sounds beautiful and seems to be spruce and rosewood. The closest thing I can find is called the FJ-70.

The sound hole sticker says FJ-R and the SN reads IS41006283. (made in indonesia)

Hey Damon,
Based on the headstock shape alone I would say that what you have is from the late '90s or later.

It definitely is not an FJ-70 (http://desmoines.craigslist.org/msg/2651591302.html)

The headstock shape on yours is identical to the current design as far as I can see.

Cheers,
