I have a CD-220sce I just bought which I love but I'd like to change the tuning machines and / or the knobs to something nicer without having to modify the headstock. Like the Brown Pearloid knobs. Does anyone have any suggestions or maybe a site I can go to see a selection. Any help is appreciated....Rock On!!!

Sorry I don't have an answer for you but your the first CD-220 owner I've found here and I just wanted to say Hi! I just bought one as well, so far I'm thrilled with it. Did you get the model with ovangkol back and sides or burled ash? Mine's ovangkol, didn't have the opportunity to play an ash model, the pics on the site look very cool. It would have been cool to compare the two side by side and hear the tonal differences between the two woods.

Cheers,
Zach

What's up Zach...I got the Burled Ash. It's quite nice. Played my first gig with it last night and it sounded beautiful plugged in. Got a lot of compliments on it. The boys kept wanting to play it. Sounds way more expensive then it is. Very happy!
FYI...called Fender and found out the machines are like Schaller. Ordered rosewood buttons. Should look great and hopefully they will fit. I'll let you know!!!

Peace!

Glad to hear you're enjoying your guitar so much and that it sounds so good! I hope the new tuning machines work out for you.

Cheers!
