I have recently bought a Fender 140 sce acoustic guitar. When I turned the built-in tuner on and tuned it I wanted to turn the Fishman off, but I couldn't. Any ideas what is the matter and how could I fix it?

Hi Proximuso,
Download the manual here: http://support.fender.com/manuals/instruments/Fishman_Presys_513-100-183_rC_manual.pdf

That will hopefully answer your question. Don't worry about the Presys name, Fishman changed the name of the Aero line to Presys because another instrument company already uses the name "Aero."

See the disclaimer at the top of the page here:
http://www.fishman.com/products/filter/type:preamps

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking. With mine I psh the "Tuner" button to turn it on tune the guitar and push the "Tuner" button again to turn it off. When the guitar is plugged in the preamp signal to the amplifier is muted when the tuner is engaged.

Good luck!

My previous post could be a bit rough to understand indeed. What I meant is that after turning the tuner on I can't turn it off. Pushing the Tuner button does nothing at all and such situation prevents me from playing plugged to the amp.

Hey Proximuso,
I have encountered a few preamps while I was shopping on which a quick push turns the tuner on and to turn it off you need to hold the button down for a few seconds. My apologies if you've already tried that; there's nothing worse than being told to do something you've already tried.

Beyond that I'm out of ideas. I think built in electronics are guaranteed for a year, I'd get in touch with the dealer you bought the guitar from.

Good luck,
