Hello aeboy,
Welcome to the wonderful world of the guitar and welcome to the forum. I hope you are enjoying your new guitar. Strings are very much a matter of personal preference, both in terms of kind of string to use and how often to change them. For now unless you have some reason to switch I'd keep on using something similar to what your guitar came with.

Your guitar likely came with light (.012-.052) gauge strings installed, see spec sheet: http://www.fender.com/products/search.php?partno=0961518021. If the store where you bought it changed the strings they very likely would have used the same gauge as it is generally easy to play. The numbers refer to the diameter in inches of the strings, the high E string (the skinniest one) has a diameter of .012 inches and the low E has a diameter or .052 inches. The remaining strings fall in the range between those two diameters.

The most commonly used strings for steel string acoustic guitars are those with either a bronze or a phosphor bronze wrap wire on the heavier wound strings. Bronze tends to produce a brighter sound and phosphor bronze tends to be mellower. Experiment with both to see what sounds best for you.

Good luck!
