Just purchased this baby with a case locally used off craigs list and all I can is wow. First off it's simply a beautiful guitar. Some may not like the fretboard images but I think it gives a cool look. Everything else is simply a beautiful work of art. The Mahogany solid top is fantastic not only looks but I like the mellow sound. A very direct sound.

I also really like the concert size. I don't see myself going back to a dreadnought anytime soon. This is more comfortable. Perfectly sized is about the best way to put it.

If you get a chance to check one of these out I suggest you do. The workmanship and quality of the guitar is first rate. Fender gets knocked around on a lot of forums but they're wrong in this case.

Take care

OB

Yeah I bought this guitar in October and love it. It's honestly not the best sounding acoustic I have but for some reason it's turned into my go to acoustic. I wish I would have picked up a used one though that's probably my only regret you can get these on craigslist for around $200 and they're worth every penny.

I just picked this guitar up about 2 weeks ago and love it.

I play Metal and yes this guitar sounds so sick hooked up to my amps. ( Peavey 3120,6505+,6534+,Randall V2 ).

I know most people don't buy this type of guitar for metal but it sound so good with High gain amps.

When I was trying this guitar out with out a amp it sound good but got tired of waiting on the assclown to find a power cord for the fender twin reverb.

So I hooked up to a Peavey 6505+ and wow this guitar is sick.

Bottom line you want a good cheap guitar that can do cleans, rock, hard rock, and Metal buy this guitar Fender you did a kickass job .

Here is a song I did with the Fender HellCat and yes I know I sux.

I bought a left-handed Hellcat off of Ebay a few weeks ago and I've been loving it so far. It's a pretty nice guitar for not a whole lot of money. I really dig the mahogany top and the maple neck. I like the concert-size body, too -- it's more comfortable for me to play than a standard dreadnought. The Fishman electronics seem to work well and the built-in tuner is a nice touch, too!

As I mentioned in another thread, the action on this guitar (at least on mine) is initially *very* high, so it does benefit from having a good setup job. I took mine to a luthier who adjusted the bridge and nut, and also filed down some of the frets to allow for lower action. It cost me an extra $50 but it made the instrument MUCH more comfortable to play.
