Most likely Mexico, and the sonorans actually belong to the California series. It also includes the Malibu and the Kingman, Sonorans just happened to be more popular so they make more versions of it.

Why do you ask?

I'm thinking about buying one, but the Chinese made acoustics I've tried haven't impressed me. I was hoping they were made in Mexico or Korea, but I hadn't heard of any Mexican made Fender acoustics. The Chinese guitar industry is improving, but I don't think they've caught up to Korea yet.

Fender customer service tells me that the Sonoran guitars are made in China.
