Hi guys,

I currently own a Fender CD-220-SCE guitar with Fishman on-board electronics. For a week or so, i've been hearing this constant humming noise whenever i plug the guitar in to an amp. Whenever I hold the audio jack on the guitar, the noise goes away, again if i remove my hand, the noise comes back. There seems to be ground connection problem in the guitar. I'll be glad if anyone helped me out with it?

Just for safety, check the grounding of the outlet you use with the 3prong tester.

But I have checked the guitar in my friend's place too. The ground noise still stays there. I'm sure it's my guitar's fault - but I need an advice on how to repair the fault.
