Hello everybody

I just bought my first guitar last week and it is a CD-280 SCE model but the one that sounded the best was the Sonoran. I am not really a fan though of the Stratocaster headstock. Does anyone know of another style that sounds the same as the Sonoran (same woods and all) ?

Sonoran:

Body Back: Laminated Mahogany Back
Body Sides: Laminated Mahogany Sides
Body Top: Solid Spruce
Bracing: Scalloped X Bracing

Many factors contribute to the sound of a guitar. Like the material the nut, saddle, and bridge pins are made of or the and gauge of strings. In the case of the Sonoran you are also looking at guitar with a maple neck. You might ask the guitar tech where you brought your guitar what you might be able to do to make it sound more like a Sonoran. Hope that helps.
