REM's Man on the Moon, uses a sliding C chord, real easy chord transitions

Folsom Prison Blues, 3 chords E, A, and B7, really helps to speed up chord transitions

Mercedes Benz, again, basically 3 chords, fun to play and sing.

Avril Lavigne's "When you're gone". It's pretty easy and uses various chords!

I truly enjoy to listen bands play unplugged ... there are lots of talanted players... check evanescence- my immortal, guns n'roses- knockin on the heavens door, nirvana- about a girl...just listen music and find out what you like , almoust everything sounds good on acoustic( especially Fender  ). You may make your own versions too... and if you want to develop "interesting" skills check in YouTube AndyMckee's songs.

I'm no Hootie and the Blowfish fan, but I had a friend that learned his Basic chords and changes (in record time) by playing along with the First Hootie album.

My best friend and I had an Acoustic set when we were in High School, let's see if I can remember them:
Tangerine-Zep
Wish You Were Here- Pink Floyd
House of Broken Love-Great White
House of Pain-Faster PussyCat
that's all I can remeber now. I'll have to give him a call to jog my memory.

Van Morrison's "Brown Eyed Girl." It is simpler than it sounds.
