Has anyone tried using a regular solid state Fender amp for acoustic guitar?

Well about a year ago I changed speaker in my Fender Frontman 25R to a Eminence Ragin Cajin with the intent to use it for electric guitar. Anyway, I plugged my Martin D-15S with K&K pickup into the Fender Frontman 25R, and was blown away by the dynamic sound. The clean channel was loud with way more smooth bottom end than most acoustic amps. Also, it was not fluby or thumpy. I did not crank it up too loud but it was pretty loud on 3-4.

Give it a try you'll be suprised at the volume and tone you can get from a regular solid state Fender guitar amp.

I wonder what the FM 65R or the FM 212 sounds like with an acoustic guitar plugged in?
