Black Friday this week. Any of the acoustics on this page would be a decent beginner guitar.

This Yahama would be better thoughhttp://www.kraftmusic.com/catalog ... oduct=5715

Personally I am hesitant to buy anything from Guitar Center. I would check something more friendly like Musician's Friend.com

Guitar Center and Musician's Friend are owned by the same company.

Most local music stores and regional chains will match prices from their on-line competition. So do your research and then go into your local store (chain or not), play the various guitars you are interested in purchasing.... buy the own that sounds and plays the best for you.

I agree,

Try all the Fenders out and price around.

Get a feel of what feels good.

And get a good price.

hm... If your willing to spend a little more, a Takamine like this would be a lot better than a Fender acoustic.
