Here's my acoustic...the first guitar I ever owned. 1990(ish) Fender Concord II acoustic...it's been through a lot, but plays great and sounds awesome.

Thank ya...of my six guitars, it's definitely one of my two faves. :)

I had a Fishman acoustic pickup put in about two years ago for gigging, so it's had a few changes/alterations over time (including getting dropped headstock-first in a parking lot, meeting my metal bedframe in my old dorm room, having my alarm clock fall on top of it and gouge it, etc.). :p

It's got a very warm sound for an acoustic--I think it was made in Korea as a laminate-construction guitar, so I'm not sure what the wood is, aside from the spruce top and the rosewood fretboard.

D'oh...I don't think I HAVE any video of me playing it...it's been at least 4 years since I used it at a gig, too...nowadays, it sits in my office at work as my stress reliever during lunch. :)

I think that the acoustics have better sound than the electrics...That's why I play my acoustic more than my Strat..

well the acoustic don't have the electronics, so even if you have a not so good guitar but you can play well, it may sound good! :D

When I first started wanting to play guitar, I remember thinking that I'd start off on a cheapie electric and amp. My father, who's a professional classical musician, decided that if I could master an acoustic, then an electric would be easy for me. I was dumb enough to question him then, but man, I'm glad I started on acoustic. Helped train my ear better, work more on the nuances of my playing, and built up my finger strength.

I'm with y'all...there's something about the sound of an acoustic that just can't be beat...
