What's the deal with this forum. 1 response?

Here's my review (for you, Phansford!) of the guitar that arrived from American Guitar and Band:

Let me say from the outset that for under $800 used, I more than half expected a mediocre acoustic instrument from Fender (Ensenada). Despite the list price of just about $2K, I thought they just put together some nice features (see below) and slapped on a couple of 60th Anniversary badges and called it a day. Man-oh-man was I wrong! This is a really well-built guitar; cleanly finished, braced nicely, and with obvious attention to presentation. Bindings and fretboard work are specially nice. I don't know the grade of the woods (I know . . . so let's sidestep that controversy for the moment) but the spruce up top is tight-grained throughout. There is some run-out but no big deal, as far as I'm concerned. the cocobola(o) b/s is stunning. Very rich looking .

While was concerned that the poly finish would adversely affect projection and tonal properties, my fears were again unfounded. This cocoblo doesn't leave the guitar with that "compressed" sound you sometimes read about and hear. The PRESENCE is terrific. Play this mini-jumbo with a light attack, baby it, if you will, and it still fills a room. The BALANCE is gauged right smack-dab in the middle the middle range between the high and low strings. Ballsy and sweet as needed, for sure. The SEPARATION really surprised me. While it can't compete with a guitar in the $3K range and above, I'll put it up agains most $2K beasts I've run across. The SUSTAIN? Fahgettaboutit! Notes and chords hang around just fine.

ORIGINAL POST;
Hello all. Just bought an ESM 60 (1 of only 68 . all solid wood, 60th Anniversary mini jumbos) and looking for any information you can give me or direct me to. Really excited with this purchase and will post my reactions and reviews after the guitar arrives.
Thanks for the help.

Elderly has some information. They are a very reputable dealer with a national reputation.

http://www.elderly.com/fmic/items/ESM60AM.htm

According to Elderly..... Only 38 made. Lots of nice photos.

You would need to Google the guitar to find some pricing... I was seeing prices from $550 to $800 for the guitar.

Thanks for the heads up on Elderly. I found that one yesterday while searching the net for info. While I'm blown away by elderly's claim that only 34 of these guitars were made, I was initially skeptical. But I agree; Elderly has been around a long while and I've only heard or read good things about them. So, I'm going with the idea that I grabbed a pretty rare guitar. Would love to have 1 of 38 but the customer service guy at Fender told me otherwise.

Thanks again.
