What are some of your favorite strings to use with your guitar?

I use mostly Ernie Ball or DiAddario, everything from 9's to 12's on electric, and 10's on my Stratacoustic and 12's on my Breedlove acoustic.

thanks for the input. I mostly use D'addario strings on my acoustic. Have you (or anyone else) ever used any of the strings Fender makes? wondering if they are a good investment.

I only use Fender 3150R's (.010 - .046 Bullets) for my Strat and Tele.
Fender's guide to strings

I typically only use Martin Marquis (80/20 Bronze) Light on my acoustics.
This is a nice guide to acoustical strings.

It's really personal preference. Like.... I only prefer to use a medium Fender 351 Celluloid pick and it has to be white.... I mean how anal can one get.

I just put Elixirs on my acoustic for the first time and really like them. Next time my 12-string needs changing will probably try them there too

Ive always used "Martin" strings but recently tried a set of the "Ernie Ball Coated" an not looking back, got them on everything, 11s on my Stratocaster, 13s on acoustic, & hybrid/supers on basses.
Was a bit put off by the price to start with, had the attitude of "can get 2x sets for that price etc" but after trying them I'm convinced, other coated strings that Ive used in the past Ive found them to be a bit greasy but with these the only difference with them is apart from staying fresh longer they feel nice to the touch, try a set you wont be disappointed, an if you don't like em at lest you can say you've tried them ! 8)

I use Ernie Ball on everything. EB coated slinky phosphor bronze 12's on my acoustics and EB coated 10's on the electrics. They sound better than anything else I've tried and last twice or three times longer.

I use the set for .12s but the .12 is so thin and weak when dropping it down a whole step I just bought bulk .13s and used them whenever I change strings.
A lot of Hawaiian "Slack Key" players use the DGDGBD, Dobro/slide players call it open G, I think.
