Pete -

One good place to start is http://www.gbase.com/. This is an site where a lot of vintage dealers post their inventory. Use the advance search on the site and you can find lots of different dealers who might have a particular item. You currently won't find any Fender f360s 12 on that site..... but for future reference.

The Fender site says the f360s 12 was produced one year only - 1987 and they were imported from Asia. I think that guitar was made in Japan.

Unfortunately Fender acoustics don't hold their value like the electrics and the overseas stuff really doesn't hold its value. Currently, it is not what collectors are looking to add to their collections. Even the Japanese electric Fenders from the 1980's haven't really increase in value.

You might try ebay histories or just Google the guitar to value the guitar

I found one for sale for $300.

Don't sweat getting the guitar appraised.... just enjoy playing it.

Yeah.... and that's the real point .... buy what you like and enjoy it. If 25 years from now its highly collectable and increases in value.... double the joy.

So you've had that bad boy for some time. I think the Japanese stuff of the 80's was nicely constructed. I had a 1986 Japanese Strat with a Floyd Rose Tremolo.

Do you know if its solid wood or laminated? Solid wood is preferable AND the tone seems to get better with age.

Sweet.... I have to assume it has nice tone and will just get better with age.

I currently don't have a nice acoustic and would like to find Gibson LG-0 or a Gibson B-25. I have an old parlor acoustic.

My first guitar was a Christmas gift from my Dad. It was long gone and I wanted to find another one for sentimental reasons. I found one at Shopgoodwill.com. I paid $31 for the guitar and $40 in shipping

That first guitar was a 1970 Sears and Roebuck SR 1209. It is the last incarnation of the "Stella" parlor guitar. It is solid wood... made by Harmony in Chicago. I real finger bleeder

I love the Space Dot Logo (S R)
