Post subject: string replacement

what type of strings should be used to replace the strings if they are broken,
steel or bronze? BTW it is the cheap $150 starcaster acoustic.

Any electric guitar strings should work on the starcaster. Since it is a Starcaster I would bet they are light guage to start with so try a set of .009 or .010 (High E 1st string). Available everywhere music instruments are sold including Walmart.

I use bronze on my acoustic guitar and have no complaints.
