Sitting in Limbo - Jimmy Cliff - Really nice chorus progression
Hey You - Pink Floyd - Gotta love the Em9 opening chord
Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd - Often comes around in warm up for me
Dead Flowers - The Stones - Always a good sing along chorus
As Tears Go By - The Stones - Nice song for finger pickin' practice

Those are a few on my current rotation. There are also just so many "easy" songs. Many great 3 chord songs that can be played well for a campfire sing-along strum version to a down home finger lickin' pickin' version it's tough sometimes to choose one to practice.

I often find that I'll be practicing one song and as I play it morphs into a different but similar song that I end up learning.

Here's a list of some of my favorite acoustic songs:

Romeo & Juliet - Dire Straits
Last Kiss - Pearl Jam
Wonderful Tonight - Eric Clapton

I just started playing this one:
Hey Oh (Snow) - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Its' a little cheesy but fun to play.

Another fun to play one is "I wanna be sedated" by the Ramones. It's strumming madness on acoustic.

Thanks everyone for your input on this topic. A couple more I have been working on lately is Summer Breeze, some Christmas tunes and alot of Beatles such as Blackbird and Here Comes the Sun.

And just about anything off of Claptons Unplugged!

Thanks for all the replies, lately Beatles songs such as Norwegian Wood, In My Life,The Long and Winding Road, Something, All You Need Is Love, Blackbird and Yesterday. These songs sound great on an acoustic and are fun to play.
