I upgraded to the Fender California Series Kingman "10" Acoustic-Electric Guitar and should have it next week. Anyone know what the "10" means?

The "10" could be short for hang 10 which is surfer slang. So the 10 represents the surf styled rosette and beach theme on the neck. It's a beautiful guitar and i bet it sounds as good as it looks. Cedar top and rosewood back and sides is a beautiful sounding combination. Congrats on the upgrade. Put up some pics when you get it.

Thank you! Makes sense. Hanging 10 I like this better than version 10. I usually do not visit much on forums until now. This is a good group of people with answers. Thanks everyone.
