I picked up my Sonoran last week and love it. I am a beginner. The store where I bought it said the first adjustment is free. Since I am a beginner, any idea when I should use the free adjstment? I am enjoying playing and hope my finger tips get used to playing so I can play longer. Here is a pic to share. [/img]

Wonderful! I have one in Shoreline Gold and I love it. The adjustment - depends on how it plays and feels right now. You might want to go ahead and use it so you know how it is supposed to feel...

Congratulations on your purchase of the Sonoran. I too, am a beginner. I bought a Candy Apple red one. I have had it for a couple weeks. I have changed the strings on ti.. (thanks E-how.. it gave step by step instructions). ANyway, the guitar must have come with 0.011 gauge strings on it, and I have put on a set of 0.012's. It seems harder to play now than when I first bought it. I am taking this route, though. I am going to go ahead and continue practicing my scales and chord progressions on this set of 0.012's, until they get really dull (they are d'adarrio Phosphor bronze0. My thinking is, it will toughen up my fingers, and when I go back to 0.011's, I'll get a professional set up, then continue with 0.011's from then on.
