Nice Telecoustic CC. Did you add the scatch plate or did it come on it? I haven't seen any with pic guards. Yours looks just like the one i plan on getting minus the pic guard. How does it handle feedback? Thanks for sharing.

Both colours come with a choice of the white or the red tortoiseshell.

I think the latter is more suited to the sparkling red colour. White looks great with the sunburst.

To be honest I got this guitar for a laugh because everyone in Belfast associates me with Teles since I was a kid and I thought it would be great to pull it out at a show for a song but since then I've been gigging with my acoustic blues band and got it the same day as my Acoustasonic 30 and the pairing is godly.

I'm very impressed and it plays like a dream. The option to blend between the pickup and the Fishman is fantastic for a crossover sound and it even comes with a 'y' cable to split the signal a la 2 guitars.

Strongly recommend. My expectations were exceeded. Big Time!!!

Oh yeah and feedback has not been a problem even though I have thrown her in the deep end and taken her out live not long after getting her. The amp may have a lot to do with that though but there has been NO problem so far.

Thanks man!

Cool 6twang. I know Airbornestrat ordered a standard recently. It just baffles me that there aren't more owners to swap tips etc with.

I think that Fender gets a bad wrap for thier acoustics. The stratacoustic and telecoustic are underated big time. Maybe Fender hasn't given the two a big enough push. In my honest opinion the two are probably in the top 5 for stage performing acoustics. I will for sure get the telecoustic before i'll spend a few grand on a Taylor.

Hey CC!

Guess what I bought...?

Yup - and it's all your fault!

I gave in and bought a Telecoustic Deluxe - Candy Apple Red with white binding, top and bottom. Brand new. Got both pick guards, the Y cord and the deluxe gig bag.

Now I'm trying to get use to playing it. Obviously it has a bit different feel than my other Tele's.

I'll get some pictures up soon. Actually, I need to post the whole harem.

So now it's you, me and Eric as part of this little exclusive Telecoustic club! 8)

Rick

CC,Ricky,
She arrived yesterday and I agree with you. This guitar is so underrated. I am amazed at how great she sounds. Plugged in OMG heaven. I have been unable to put her down all day. I can't wait for the 3 of us to get together and have a major Electric/Acoustic Tele Jam!! here is the pic of her. Her name is Wawbeek after the great camp in the Adirondack Mountains where we Honeymooned at. Cheers,
Eric
